Good News Community Church is a multiracial vibrant church community located in the Roger Park Community. We believe that the diversity in the world should be represented in the church. We believe that racial and ethnic diversity enriches the community of faith.

Our worship service is a celebration of God’s work, which includes a joyful noise provided by our choir and inspirational sermons that connect with the real world. Our small church community provides you the opportunity to connect with God’s people through worship and fellowship and deepen your own person faith through prayer, reflection and action for justice.

Our building, which looks from the outside more like the storefront that than the dynamic worship space it is, provides needed community space for an alternative high school, a kitchen that provides a hot meal daily, and other local community organizations. The heart beat and needs of our community enter our doors.

Come and visit a faith space that is not the most segregated hour on Sunday. Bring your uniqueness to our faith community. And know this, no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, there is a place for you here at Good News Community Church.

We are conveniently located a half block north from the Howard El stop on the red line. Although we may be the last stop in Chicago, we are not the last stop for good news. Check us out. Come join us in sharing and being good news to the world.
